The latest seasonal allocation for December 2019 have been announced by the Storage Manager.
No measurable inflow was received to reservoirs during November. Mild day time temperatures during much of November resulted in reservoir evaporation losses being slightly lower than forecast, with the savings able to be directed to increasing allocations. This has enabled Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product allocation to increase by 1% this month to have a 36% allocation. Glenelg River Compensation Flow remains at 1% allocation. No allocation has yet been possible to Recreation entitlement, Wetland entitlement or Commonwealth environmental entitlement.

The latest seasonal allocation for November 2019 have been announced by the Storage Manager.
Reservoirs received 1,050 ML of inflow during October, which is around 4% of the October average. Despite very low inflows, mild weather conditions saw lower than forecast reservoir evaporation losses, with the savings able to be directed to increasing allocations. This has enabled Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product allocation to increase by 5% this month to have a 35% allocation and Glenelg River Compensation Flow to receive a 1% allocation. No allocation has yet been possible to Recreation entitlement, Wetland entitlement or Commonwealth environmental entitlement.

The Storage Manager has realeased its second quarterly operating plan supplement for October to December 2019. This supplement accompanies the Annual Operating Plan and looks specifically at reservoir system operation over the upcoming 3-month period.
