August allocations for the 2025/26 water year have been announced by the Storage Manager.

Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product entitlements increased from 0% to 2% allocation. Additionally, no allocation was possible to Glenelg River Compensation Flow, Recreation, Wetland and Commonwealth Environmental entitlements.

Modest inflow during July helped erased the system operating shortfall and secure all expected transfer losses for the 2025/26 water year. With losses secured, remaining available water was able to be allocated to the first tier of entitlements and secure 2.5 GL towards the system reserve.

Future increasing in allocation will be contingent on new water entering the system through inflow or realised evaporative / transfer losses on the system less than the assessment provision.
